Apple Changes the App Store for the Better
The App Store changes the searching option for users for the better.
According to iDevice users who recently went to the App Store website, the view of the site has changed a little. But don’t worry because it improves the way you search for applications from thousands of apps available in the store.
What’s good about the update is that there is no need for iPad users to update their device. The said change includes new improved features like capability to being able to search for an app or apps based on categories like Games, Action Games, and many others.
The App Store site also includes all recently released applications, information if the app is free or not, and views of the ratings of each app.
The filter is said to be inter-compatible which means that you have the ability to limit the results of the app that you searched for, like showing the results for game apps only if this is the category of the apps you want to look through. The filter provides great advantage since there are currently about 330 thousand applications available in the App Store worldwide.
Moreover, iPhone and iPad applications that have not been installed on your device will prompt you to Install them. What you could see before the changes were made was just Free or Buy Now message.
The new feature Install ensures buying the app that you really need for your device. The site will also prompt users to Update if the applications need to be updated, and not a confusing Install or Free message that can be seen by you before the changes were applied.
However, the update is currently available for iPad users only, which means that iPhone users still need to find their way in the jungle of apps stored in the App Store.
PS: Many iPad users who use the iOS 3.2.2 are not unable to visit the App Store from their iDevice, because it loads blank pages. We hope that soon we’ll find out how to solve this issue and share the solution with those who have the mentioned firmware and experience the same problem.
