Apple iPhone Is Hailed First In Customer Satisfaction
Though Android phones defeated the Apple handset in other aspects like hardware specs, marketplace, and others, one thing can never be taken from the device: the performance that customers found more than satisfactory. It’s undeniable that consumers have a huge spectrum of choices in the market when it comes to wireless devices and carriers, but still Apple is the tough company to beat.
Apple tops J.D. Power Satisfaction Survey for popular mobile phone devices and carriers, with the iPhone on the number one spot followed by HTC. The iOS device is also rated better than other mobile devices across the globe. The result is from the semi-annual survey conducted by the firm.
This is the sixth consecutive time Apple took home the win with the iPhone in the J.D. Power Survey. The survey is tallied based on:
“For smartphones, the key factors are: performance (35%); ease of operation (24%); features (21%); and physical design (20%).
For a sixth consecutive time, Apple ranks highest among manufacturers of smartphones in customer satisfaction. Apple achieves a score of 838 and performs well in all factors, particularly in ease of operation and features. HTC (801) follows Apple in the smartphone rankings.”
Another report from ACSI stated that Apple won a score of 83 percent over 100 percent. This is the highest score a company has ever got so far. Other companies are even staggering to reach 80 percent. BlackBerry from Research In Motion got the lowest rank in the survey with 69 percent. It can be remembered that the company has been struggling in the past when it comes to sales and performance and is still struggling until now.
“At 83, Apple’s iPhone is a game changer when it comes to customer satisfaction. No other cell phone company has ever broken into the 80s. Apple’s nearest competitors this year three companies tied at 75: Nokia (+3%) and ACSI newcomers LG and HTC,” the report from ICS stated.
The survey indicates that consumers really love Apple. Despite of the tough mobile competition in the market, the iPhone is undeniably popular and the handset to buy particularly in the United States. The main reason is the reliability and the quality of the devices the company is manufacturing. One aspect is also the Cupertino Company’s popular and reliable image with the popularity of the iPad.
Once again, this is another two thumbs up for Apple for a job well done. With the expected release of the 5th-generation of iPhones, the power of the company is expected to heighten. The firm is also famous for the innovation it brings on its new devices.
