Apple to Update the Line of iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch?
It seems that the Cupertino-based tech giant wants to bring new look to its iOS devices, according to the latest Apple news. The company is rumored to release a mini dock connector in September 2012. Since Apple’s devices aren’t able to support it, the giant might update its entire line of gadgets, including the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The iPod nano is also included to this list as well as the iPad mini.
Such rumors float the web recently. Surely, such products as the iPod touch might enjoy a refresher since Apple hasn’t updated them in a long while. However, can the company really launch a new iPad so quickly since the third-generation model was presented in March 2012?
Apple Release Schedules
All these rumors look a bit odd. Apple likes to stick to its yearly launch schedules. So far all the iPads (the original, second-gen and third-generation tablets) were introduced in spring. The iPhone also had its own schedule for presentation.
It is unclear whether Apple can take such a step and bring a brand-new device on the market this September 2012. Some experts believe the current gadget can get a modest update in fall while the next generation iPad would still be released in the spring 2013.
The iPhone 5 Launch
The new mini dock connector might be presented along with the iPhone 5 release this fall. Actually, Apple has a history of presenting updated hardware with MacBooks. Thus the rumors can be true.
With the presentation of the mini dock connector, customers will keep buying new accessories for their new iPhones, iPads and iPods touch. This looks pretty real. Still we’ll know the truth in fall when Apple rolls out its updates.
The closest event planned by the company will take place on September 12. This might be the date we’ll hear everything about the next iPhone 5 launch, the new 7-inch iPad mini and other devices developed by Apple for 2012-2013.
