Buying an iPad 2? Tips on How and Where
If you’re worried that you will have to wait for long to get your iPad 2 like what happened last year with the original tablet, the good news is you can expect far better with the second-gen iDevice. You will now have better and more options on where you can buy your next-gen tablet.
You can always place an online purchase through the Apple website however, unlike the original iPad there is no pre-order option for the new iDevice. You can purchase it in the Apple website the same day it will be released in the market: March 11. The icing on the cake is that Apple offers free shipping for the new tablet.
There’s also an option to purchase the iPad on March 11 in person since there are currently 263 Apple branches in the United States. The downside is that you need to wrestle with other consumers who are also eager to get their own tablet. Waiting in long lines will be your number one test which something I would not recommend you to try if you don’t have patience. If you’re really obsessed with the new tablet, waiting in long lines is worth a try since Apple is providing associates who can set up your device as a consolation. You will also be informed of iPad 2 plans if you opt for the 3G version.
Moreover, the next-gen tablet is also available for purchase in Verizon, Walmart, and Target. AT&T has not made a call about selling the second-gen iPad yet.
Best Buy will also be selling the new tablet in fact the device is currently featured on its website, while consumers in Philadelphia can purchase their next-gen tablet in Springboard Media that is a licensed Apple retailer.
