Strong efforts showed by Foxconn is said to lessen Pegatron Technology’s chances of getting the manufacturing contract for the next iTablet. Pegatron is considered Foxconn’s strongest competitor for the said project.

Digitimes also released a report in Monday mentioning Apple’s add to look for a second manufacturing partner for the production of the next iPad that is expected to start this fall.
An update from another source that was release Wednesday referred to the new iTablet as the iPad 3, but another source stated the next batch of the iTablet will be an “iPad 2 Plus” model. According to the article Apple is less likely to release another batch of iDevice that will replace the second-gen iTablet.
Reports also stated that Pegatron is set to receive the contract for 10 million units of the iPhone 5 that is expected to be launched for the coming months. The company is said to be eyeing on the fortune of getting the order for the fourth-gen iTablet that is expected to be launch in 2012.
Meanwhile, this year’s anticipated next iPad model is expected to come in HD with the screen resolution of 2048-by-1536 pixels, that is double the screen of the second-gen iTablet. The anticipated model is said to be targeting the higher end market.
While most are excited about the release of the anticipated new batch of iPad, others are seeing that it can give negative impact to Apple’s lineup of iOS device.
