Getting a Refund on iPad Applications from the Apps Store
First of all, you should be aware that sales of music and movies are final so no refunds are given.
When an app is corrupt, or does not perform as described on iTunes, or if it’s not compatible for use in your geographical area, but this was not stated in the iTunes description then you are entitled t a credit from the iTunes store.
When you apply for a credit, you need to supply the following information; apart from your personal details you have to specify the order number and date, as well as your reason for asking for a refund. You can expect a response within 48 hours, and a credit within 5 days. If you purchased the app with your iTunes credit card, your account will be credited.
In order to find the order number, log in to your iTunes account, press Account then recent purchases, and look for the app in question. The order number and date are posted next to its name.
You may not need to use this information, but its better to be safe than sorry, as they say.
