iPad 3: Release Date and Price Predictions
Rumors have called the iPad 3 launch date on summer of 2011 which unfortunately has now come and gone, similar to the Christmas season of 2011, and then well in to 2012. Conservative estimates have the iPad 3 launch happening round the usual period of 2012, or likely sometime in March.
Apple hasn’t presented an official release date of iPad 3 yet, because they are traditionally very safeguarded on their products and surrounding information, holding off until the product introduction. The iPad 3 is however in preliminary production right now while you reading this article.
As a result of previous rumors of delay because of retina display issues, some trade sources had originally announced that the iPad 3 wouldn’t show up well in Q2 or Q3 of 2012, and that we would certainly see a iPad 2S with small upgrades developing in the beginning of the year.
Apple isn’t noted for releasing more than 1 tablet or smart phone each year, and while they may decide to offer a smaller comparable version at the say 7 inch size, the iPad 3 is still required to see a release date during the early first half of 2012.
With all the proposed upgrades which will bring the iPad 3 in as a trend rather than the iPad 2 that was seen as more of an progression over the original iDevice, many are predicting the Apple iPad 3 to be really pricey, even so no official price has been set for the future gadget.
With the latest success of reasonably priced tablets like the Amazon Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet, I still hope Apple to price the iPad 3 well and be right about the same release price as the iPad 2 to stay competitive and solidify their position as the tablet innovator yet again.
