iPad Health App Developers Are in Demand
iOS developers are always in demand since a lot of organizations and businesses wish to get their own iPad and iPhone applications. Some agencies, for example, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), are currently demanding health app developers for iOS devices. Later on, this agency wants to find a contractor for other platforms developing as well.
The agency is searching for contractors who will design iOS programs and implement them for such gadgets as iPad and iPhone. It is the part of the National Institutes of Health and it has requested data on the fbo.gov site. All iOS developers might like to take a look at the requirements spelled out by the organization.
We will shortly describe what the agency wishes to find. It plans to develop iPad and iPhone apps that will present useful information, from news to scientific findings. The applications will share grant opportunities, multimedia content and available jobs. The programs must include social media links.
Even though the RFI wishes to find iOS developers, it plans to port the applications to other mobile platforms, such as Windows Mobile and Android in the future, so programmers should keep this request in mind.
The agency wants to get such health app developers who will use the best practices in the developing industry while designing the programs, making their layout and working on their interface and usability.
NIEHS is not the first agency that is looking for iOS app developers. According to the strategy document published by the White House, Americans should be able to see any government data and services on any gadgets.
So far the USA.gov offers a big variety of iPad and iPhone applications. Some of them are developed by the government companies, while others are created by outside iOS programmers.
