iPad Mini Release: Is There Any Point in This Tablet?
We have heard so many rumors about the next iPad Mini that Apple might launch in 2012 just before the Christmas shopping season. Even though we might hear about this new gadget this September when the Cupertino-based company is supposed to announce the next iPhone 5 release and iPad Mini details, let’s think if there is any point for such a huge giant tech to present such a tablet.
According to the recent survey, the launch of iPad Mini is pointless if Apple presents both devices, iPhone 5 and new small tablet, at the same time. It seems that just customers won’t have that much interest in getting the smaller version of a popular tablet computer.
Failure or Victory?
Will the mini tablet announce be a failure? According to the online survey, about 78% of over 1,800 Americans polled said they would favor the next smartphone and not tablet. Such an investigation was organized by CouponCodes4u.
At the same time most of the respondents have already purchased an iPhone and still over 45% of them believe that the release of a new smaller iPad would be “pointless” while nearly 40% of people assured they just used the phone more.
iPad Mini vs. iPhone 5
While so many prospective consumers don’t like the idea of iPad Mini release, about 20% of people polled stated they would get the next tablet even though they might already have one.
Why would they choose iPad Mini over iPhone 5? Customers said they didn’t think that the next smartphone would be any different from the previous models.
Well, the new tablet won’t also be that much different from its bigger relative. Its main difference will be its smaller size. Right now it’s hard to guess whether the new Apple products will become a big failure or big victory. We all remember how Apple can introduce its devices and make people from all over the world follow the new trend and get their hands on the new gadget as soon as possible no matter what its price is.
