iTunes 10.0.1 Has New Ping Sidebar
The new version of iTunes 10.0.1 is released by Apple. It has Ping Sidebar that brings additional convenience in sharing music with your friends.
The Ping Sidebar enables users accessing social network features directly from their iTunes music library. This means you can now like or post a song at once via this new 10.0.1 version.
The Ping Sidebar also includes history of the users Ping activities such as selected music or all the artists and friends you follow using Ping. Prior to the update Ping’s features were limited only to its tab that is located at the top, but with the new update these features can now be viewed from anywhere in the iTunes software.
iTunes 10.0.1 also enhances many features such as addressing an issue where the picture quality of a video changes depending on the visability of on-screen controls; resolving the problem where iTunes may unexpectedly quit while interacting with album artwork viewed in a separate window; fixing a problem that affects the performance of some third-party visualizers, etc. It also addresses the issue where the playlist or iTunes library appears empty, and resolves the problem of incompatibility with some third-party shared libraries.
Apple has also improved the environment of iTunes interface and made it faster and well-responsive. Users can download the iTunes update by selecting Software Update from the Apple menu which can be found at the left side of their screen.
