Steve Jobs Will Always Live in Our Hearts
The Board of Directors sent a message announcing that “Steve Jobs passed away” on Wednesday. The co-founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, who helped the company to become one of the world’s most triumphant technology companies, died at 56.
He fought cancer for the last several years. It never stopped him from working. Soon after undergoing surgery to treat pancreatic cancer in 2004, he came back to work. He had to undergo another surgery (liver transplant) in 2009. He had to centre on his health a couple of times more before resigning as Chief Operating Officer in 2011 and letting Tim Cook taking over this position.
Jobs remained Apple’s board chairman till his death.
It is a big loss to the whole world. Jobs indeed helped the world to become a better place. He was brilliant, passionate and energetic. These “were the source of countless innovations that enrich all of our lives”, Board of Directors wrote.
Successes and Talents
We will remember Jobs as a genius computer visionary. He helped Apple to produce useful and brilliant products known across the globe. He spent 20 years of his life running the Pixar Animation Studios he bought for $10 million and then sold to Disney for $7.4 billion.
Everybody knows that the iMac computers are elegant and cool. The iPod has become a burst through in portable music players. The iPad and iPhone have become whole new categories of products.
People knew Jobs as a taskmaster. He could truly read future trends and produce gadgets that were always must-have.
He can’t be called a simple man. He could seriously punish others for leaking details about Apple’s future products.
Yet he was successful and very talented.
Seeing the Future
We would not retell you Steve’s biography. It was interesting and inventing. Jobs knew how to attract fortune. All his inventions were an immediate success, from the Apple I to the iPad, from Monsters, Inc. to Toy Story 3.
Jobs shared his genius ideas with all of us. One thing he was never willing to share with others includes details of his private life…
And now, as he is gone, his wife, Laurene, and 4 kids, all the fans of Apple, Steve’s friends and co-workers will remember him as the most enthusiastic man in the world. Our memories live on.
R.I.P. Steve Jobs.
