Supersessions at Macworld Expo Used Jailbroken iPad
Christopher Breen and Ben Long, two of Macworld Expo staffers have amazed the viewers with the images projected from their iPad during the iPad Supersessions.
Users were surprised more by disclosing that supersessions were using a jailbroken iPad and an app to accomplish the trick.
What Breen and Long did was said to be the talk of the attendees for the reason that the presentation of the photos were perfectly amazing.
Breen later on left a post on his blog saying only Apple knew how to project perfect photos of the iPad, and that they needed to jailbreak the iPad so they could actually do it.
Breen also added that it was possible that a user could project image from an iOS device like the iPad with display out data in transferring the images to the projector, without jailbreaking the device.
As of the moment, Apple is making it impossible.
The complete information on iPad jailbreak process can be seen in his blog post.
In addition, Breen gives a bit of information on now the magic was done: they used iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter that costs $29, and Ryan Petrich’s Display Out that costs $2.00.
Meanwhile, people are wondering why Apple pushes people to jailbreak their iOS devices particularly the iPad to be able to optimize its usage, when the devices are now starting to play a major role as business and educational tool.
